An abundance of patience

I love teaching my children practical skills: cooking, gardening, washing dishes, composting, sweeping.

We enjoy reading a lot. Nicholas recently finished Candy Gourlay’s Bone Talk before I did. Toni is in the mood for storybooks written by Filipino authors. JJ is into poetry for kids these days. I travel with each child as part of our Mommy-Child Body, Mind, and Soul time.

So while I’m a self-confessed nerd who loves to write academic papers and answer exams, I don’t like the worksheets and the long hours spent on answering learning tasks with my children. I know they’re essential but goodness, what a drag!

But today is one of those days when I have to close my eyes and focus on guiding my children to finish their school works.

One set of worksheets for JJ and ESP/Filipino/MTB/AP learning tasks for Nick and Toni.

Tea and patience to fuel me through the day.
