Three is the number

I take lousy pictures. I was never good at photography although I did take three units of the subject back in college. I wonder why my teacher gave me a 90% grade. He did say I could have fared better if I was more patient and more diligent to sort things out with the elements. I told him I am just not good with lenses. “Think about it. Practice more,” he said.

My good friend and fellow UP Mass Communication alumna, Eva Marie Gamboa (who is also a Basadour and one of the twins’ godmothers) said I am lucky because I have models. I just haven’t realized the potential of having two cute near toddlers, who are getting more comfortable with the camera.

The truth is: I don’t have plans to be good with cameras. I am the point-and-shoot type and I don’t see any problem with that.

That’s why I rarely apologize for blurred pictures or poor lighting or grainy photos.

So here are the photos and the story of the twins from May 11 to 13, 2014. They are grainy, dark and out of focus. No, I won’t apologize. Hehe.

Enjoy!

May 11, Mother’s Day. Jeff was sick with fever and cough. It was no day off for me. I was disappointed. I really thought I would have my rest and relaxation on this Sunday. But oh well, as they say, all Mothers are working mothers who work even on Mother’s Day. So I took comfort in taking selfies with Nick and Toni.

I fed them, bathe them, put them in their cribs and fell asleep. And they’re now green. That happens when you nourish the gremlins. Hehe.

My day ended pretty well. 🙂

May 12, Monday. Jeff was still sick and I felt that I was getting sick too. I kept my distance from the twins – no hugging and kissing.

She wanted a cuddle and I said “No, little girl. Nanay is sick.”

And him too!

My body temperature was already at 39 degrees Celcius. Really bad. Good thing was already well and can take over.

May 13, Tuesday. My turn to get sick. This is going to be a looooong week.
