Marvelous March

Good news from the Ruffolo home!

Marvelous March - MAIN - reading ruffolos

We went to the state capital of Montana, Helena, for our interview with citizenship and immigration services. Our sitter bailed out on us so instead of it was just Jeff and me going to the interview, we had to drag all three kids and face the immigration officer. Well, this we tell you, there is no better documentation and proof of love (and bona fide marriage) than children! We were only interviewed for less than 10 minutes and the officer told us I will get my card in the mail earliest next week. Sooooo… yehey!

Helena

We didn’t go around Helena in that visit. We were just content in staying inside the hotel room and eating food from the hotel. Here are some photos of our staycation at the Residence Inn Helena:

Triple trouble

Jeff Junior loves to be around his older siblings. He jumps every time he sees Antoinette. He calls and taps Nicholas. 🙂

park, museum, library

We can smell spring in the air although the temperature can still be pretty cold and the kids can’t leave the house without their jackets but the days are now longer than the nights and we found ourselves visiting a park, the library, and a museum on different weekends.

Meeting leslie

At the book club meeting, I met Agatha award-winning author Leslie Budewitz, author of food mystery novels. Check out my review of her book, Death Al Dente, here.

reading at home

The photos below will show how much Nicholas love reading. It’s crazy!

My own works

Speaking of books, I just finished writing four books, which part of the Ways We Travel Series. I used these books during my lesson with the twins on the ways we travel (by land, air, water). I still have to get these books illustrated by my brother or an artist friend. But I am just happy that I am finally did it!

April is looking up to be another busy month as we start filling out applications for the twins as they enter preschool come August/September. Wish us luck!
