Picture Feature: Tang Ning Bookstore

Sun was out and the Guangzhou breeze was cool. A perfect day for an afternoon stroll.

Jeff brought me to a bookstore located underground of the Citic Building. It’s called TangNing Bookstore.

We entered through a secret passageway. Jeff has his ways and I just followed him maneuver through a Chinese labyrinth. Until… we ended up here.

We tried to walk in using the normal entrance and this is what we saw.

Inside the bookstore was, obviously, a plethora of books, 95% of which are all in Chinese.

All in Chinese...

The bookstore is more than 10 years, according to the cashier. She led me to the area where books in English were displayed.

Here are my finds. Look very closely:

Inside the bookstore, people can just sit and read. Or sleep.
